Biography
Nominated to the Grammy Awards in 2012, he received the "Best artist of the year" award. The Italian-Spanish baritone graduated in singing and orchestral conducting at the Musikhochschule in Heidelberg-Mannheim where he studied with renowned masters such as Gerard Souzay, Dalton Baldwin, Paul Schilhawsky, Carlos Chausson, Wolfram Rieger, Eric Ericson and Riccardo Frizza.

Among his most recent roles are Don Alfonso (“Così fan tutte”), Marcello (“La Boheme”), Lescaut (“Manon Lescaut”), Kolenaty (“Vec Makropulos”), Poeta (“Viva la Mamma”), Bartolo (“Barbiere di Siviglia”) or Dulcamara (“Elisir d’Amore”). Many stage directors and musical conductors he has worked with like Robert Carsen, Laurent Pelly, Willy Decker, Mariame Clement, Riccardo Frizza, Daniele Callegari or John Fiore have emphasized his great interpretative and musical qualities.
Concert-wise, Enric is considered one of the best artists of his generation, interpreting pieces like “Winterreise Op.89”, “Schwanengesang D. 957” (Schubert), or “Dichterliebe Op. 48” (Schumann), “Requiem” (Mozart), “Requiem Op. 48” (Fauré), “WeinachtsOratorium”, “Matthäus Passion” and “Johannes Passion” (Bach) or the “Messiah” (Haendel) at the best festivals and auditoriums:

His great commitment with culture and the improvement of society has led him to combine his facet as an interpreter with becoming a cultural advisor and educator. In this sense, he was the founder and artistic director of “Lied Festival Victoria de los Ángeles” (LIFE Victoria-Bcn) between 2011 and 2016.
He has also supported many philanthropic projects and was the director and presenter of a section called "How to enter the world of opera without dying" within the television space "Manos a la ópera" (RTPA). He also teaches Cultural Management as part of a Master´s Degree at Carlos III University in Madrid.
He has recorded for the labels Deutsche Grammophon, Harmonia Mundi y Naxos.
